Restoring Christmas

A Digital Event For Those Who Have Experienced Loss

restoring christmas

When you’ve experienced loss, Christmas feels different.

The lights, the songs, and the traditions that once brought joy can now bring a mix of sadness and longing.

That’s why we created Restoring Christmas—a free, digital experience designed for those navigating loss during the holidays. You’ll hear uplifting music and stories from others who have walked through grief. You’ll also hear from one of our pastors, Bryan Apinis, who shares from his own experience of loss. His words offer perspective, comfort, and hope as you face this holiday season.

Gather your family or close friends to watch together online on Thursday, December 4, from 7:00–7:40 p.m.

We look forward to sharing Restoring Christmas with you.

About Our Speaker

About Our Speaker

Bryan Apinis has been on staff at North Point Community Church and North Point Ministries for 21 years. He is passionate about experiencing—and helping other’s experience—God’s redemption in the hard and painful circumstances of life. He loves guiding people to the abundant life that Jesus offers and sees surrender, generosity, compassion, and selflessness as key pathways to it.

For the last 14 years, Bryan has led our churches’ community engagement ministry and our annual generosity campaign, Be Rich. In this role, he has helped dozens of churches and hundreds of thousands of people love their neighbors and impact their communities. Under his leadership, over $100 million have been given away, and volunteers have served 520,000 hours with nonprofit partners.

Bryan and his wife, Kathryn, have been married for 25 years and feel ridiculously blessed to be the parents of five awesome and very different kids who range in age from 12 to 20. Raising this family is one of their deepest callings and greatest passions. Another is to serve the Lord, and they share a conviction that they can do so better together than they can apart.
