Foundations, Story of the Bible

Foundations is a short-term class experience where adults can learn the essentials of following Jesus as they build and own a faith of their own. Each course lasts three weeks and will be offered in rotation at different times throughout the year.

The Bible contains one central story: God working to restore a broken relationship with his creation. Foundations: Understanding the Story of the Bible is a three-week, short-term course exploring what the Bible is and tracing the overarching story through the Old and New Testaments.

What is foundations?

Foundations is a short-term class experience where adults can learn the essentials of following Jesus as they build and own a faith of their own. Each course lasts three weeks and will be offered in rotation at different times throughout the year.

When and where does Foundations meet?

Foundations meet at 2:00 p.m. in the Gallery at Hamilton Mill Church. Classes are three weeks long and topics vary per class.

Who can come to Foundations?

Classes are open for all ages.

Do I need to register?

Yes! We provide materials and registering lets us know how many are attending.

Do I need to bring anything?

We would encourage you to bring your Bible. If you do not have one, let us know and we can provide one.

Is there any cost for the class?

No. The classes are free to anyone who attends Hamilton Mill Church.
